Plusieurs époques pour cette église entre XIème et XVIIème siècle, avec un porche typique en "manteau de cheminée", deux premières travées romanes (XIII ème siècle), les deux suivantes (XIV ème) étant gothiques. La chapelle de la Vierge date du XIV ème et fut longtemps la chapelle des Seigneurs de Cabassole et de Puget de Barbentane. Autres curiosités : la nef nord du XVI ème, la chapelle « des Mondragon », avec lanterneau du XVII ème siècle, la nef sud du XIX ème.
Le puits communal, d’une profondeur de 36 m rassemblait quotidiennement les femmes du village fut utilisé jusqu’en 1846.

The Church and The Church Square
The Church square, heart of the old city, with a primitive cemetery abandoned during the 15th century, was lined with the House of the Knights, the Town House (on the North side) and the Church.
The Church bears the testimony of several periods. It was built between the 11th and the 17th century, with a typical porch in the form of a fire place mantle, two first Romanesque bays (from the 13th century), the two following ones being Gothic. The chapel of the Virgin dates back to the 14th century and remained for a long time the chapel of the feudal lords de Cabassole and de Puget de Barbentane. The Church has other interesting things to see : the north nave from the 16th century, the chapel of « Mondragon », with its skylight from the 17th, the south nave from the 19th.
The town well, 36 metres deep, drew the women of the village everyday. It was used until 1846.
